At Farro we pride ourselves on making life easier and more delicious for our foodie customers. This role is integral to that purpose, as it involves the preparation of fresh and delicious food for our deli counters.
The role is based at our Grey Lynn store, and is a part-time role working 6am - 2pm 4 days per week: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. We would also consider two part-time positions working Friday & Saturday; Sunday & Monday. You will get the chance to state your preference in your application.
Your experience with basic food prep in other commercial kitchens will be a bonus here, as we are looking for people who care about making sure each and every product we put out for sale is of a consistently high quality. Food safety and the wellbeing of our workers is paramount, so an understanding of the principles of food safety and health and safety in a commercial kitchen would be an advantage. However, full training will be provided and you would be working with a friendly team in a supportive environment.
