Want to work in a commercial kitchen without the pressure involved with cooking to service in a restaurant?
As a Kitchen Assistant in Farro's Orakei-based Production Kitchen, you will work on preparing and assembling a range of products and recipes under the guidance of an experienced and supportive management team. The ready-to-go meals, salads, soups and deli counter food created in our kitchen is sold in our six Farro stores across Auckland.
While experience in cooking in commercial kitchens is preferred, if you're keen and able but have no experience, we're still interested in hearing from you. We are looking for people with a positive attitude who can work cleanly, efficiently and safely.
We have opportunities for people interested in working morning shifts (approx 6am - 2.30pm, 5 days per week), or evening shifts (approx 2pm - 10.30pm, 5 days per week). You would need to be available to work at least one weekend day. Please indicate your preferences in your application form and we'll take it from there.
