Who are we looking for?
We are on the hunt for an experienced FMCG retail leadership professional whose heart is with team engagement and next-level customer experience.
Leading the Farro team and working with a tight group of dedicated team players, this role focuses on engaging and motivating the team to provide that all-important first impression to delight our customers. Working as part of a larger management team, this is an on-the-floor, lead-by-example role where team development and leadership is key.
You will be role-modelling your skills in merchandising, ordering, stock management and customer service. An interest in and experience with quality meats, dairy, frozen goods and wine and beer is a definite advantage in this role. A tertiary qualification in a related discipline would help you to understand the numbers and the bigger picture, so would be a big benefit. Leadership experience is a pre-requisite, as we want to hear how you would keep your team motivated and engaged. You will also need to be able to comfortably lift 20kg+ in a safe manner, and be comfortable with spending some time working in a cold room.
This role is based in Constellation Drive (North Shore), and works 45 hours across 5 permanent days per week, Tuesday - Saturday.
