Production Kitchen Manager

The Production Kitchen Manager role may be just what you're after.
As Production Kitchen Manager you will responsible for overseeing all our morning, evening and night shifts. Your skill set will lend to optimising performance and output of our three separate shifts. You will also oversee recipe development for Farro's Deli Cabinets and rapidly growing Ready to Go Meals as well as ensuring our high standards and expectations are met. Other tasks will include: ensuring our standard library of recipes and specifications are accurately documented whilst rostering and supporting our team of approximately 35 Production Kitchen Assistants to deliver quality products we are proud of. You will also be supporting the team with the launch of new product offerings. You will be collaborating with management to analyse production runs, recommend improvements and production efficiencies. You will need proven leadership experience to really embrace this role and inspire your team to deliver their best .
With your natural organisation and time management skills, you will enjoy prioritising tasks and carrying out orders to deadlines. To be successful in this role you will have a degree or similar in culinary arts from a recognised institute and a minimum of five years' experience in production environments. A strong influence in production focused output is advantageous. You will be creative and innovative in culinary arts with an excellent exposure to the latest trends in the fields. You would be someone who is passionate about delicious food and leading people. This role directly reports to the General Manager.
This role is based in the Production Kitchen at our Orakei store.
