We provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure that our team members are making the most of their skills and interests. Our Farro Academy offers training at every step of the career ladder. Many people have built their careers at Farro, including our GM of Operations, who started his Farro journey working part-time in the deli.


We are so proud of our delicious offerings that we allow generous product discounts for every team member, so we can all share the love. We also provide delicious barista-made coffees free of charge.

Regular product trainings and tastings ensure that staff members are kept up to date with the latest offerings from our clever suppliers, so it’s easy for us to take pride in our products and share them knowledgably with customers.


At Farro we have a big focus on safety and wellbeing, and we take our responsibility as an employer seriously when it comes to ensuring that our workers leave work each day in the same state of health as they arrive.  

We have a family-friendly environment, and our leaders encourage a healthy balance between work and play.  


We encourage team members to have their say through regular engagement surveys, new joiner surveys and anonymous feedback cards. Diversity of thought is valued, and managers are open to suggestions and new ideas. On the shop floor, cross-training is offered so that team members can help out in other departments where needed, creating a friendly and collaborative environment.


We love to recognise a job well done with our High 5 cards and Employee of the Month awards, and high performers are also celebrated in our weekly Farro Feed newsletter. Special collective achievements and milestones are celebrated with staff events. As an added bonus, we help team members to celebrate their birthdays with an extra day of leave.
